Re: Save a few $ at Midway
Midway has always had the oddball part I needed when nobody else did. I'm a fan.

Re: Save a few $ at Midway
I've been a customer of theirs for over 20 years. Use to buy bulk reloading powder from them a long long time ago, when I was an apartment dweller. Freaked my receptionist out when UPS would deliver Warning Explosives marked boxes at my place of business.

They have great selection at reasonable prices, but half of it is on backorder at any given time. Makes shipping charges too high.

Re: Save a few $ at Midway
I order from three places more than anyplace else. Midway for lots of general "shooting stuff." Like a lot of Magpull parts, magazines, some reloading stuff. But most of my reloading equipment and components ends up coming from Graf's. If Graf's sell it, it is usually cheaper than Midway. The third place is Brownell's. When I'm ordering gun parts for a new custom AR or 1911 or Mauser, I usually end up spending hours and hours studying their catalog. (Although Midway has started selling many of those same parts. So you have to check both if you want the best prices.)
And the best part of all three is that they all accept a C&R FFL as a reason to give dealer pricing. That can save you 20% or more on every single order you make with them. On some items it can be nearly 50%. A C&R FFL only costs you $30 every three years so it can save you some big bucks! As far as the codes, I'll have to check them out since I was about to order some stuff. But I won't really be surprised if it turns out they are "retail only" and don't reduce dealer prices!! Gregg |
